Toxic or Harmful Ingredients

We will NEVER use them in our toothpaste and here's why.

Fluoride may be proven to prevent tooth decay but it presents toxic and harmful health risks. The FDA now requires a poison warning on all fluoride toothpastes.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

A foaming agent that has been shown to cause skin irritations and the onset of canker sores. Has been classified as" toxic or harmful” in the country of Canada.

An antibacterial agent known to cause gut inflammation and endocrine destruction when tested on animals. In 2016, the FDA banned Triclosan in soaps.

Also known as methylparaben, ethylparaben and propylparaben. Parabens are synthetic chemicals used as a preservative but can interfere with the body's hormones when ingested.

Titanium Dioxide

A popular additive to make the color of toothpastes look brilliant white but has raised health concerns, which is why it has been banned in Germany and France come 2020.

Polyethylene Glycols (PEG)

A synthetic petroleum-based compound to prevent water loss and a thickening agent in toothpaste that has been known to cause damage to the central nervous system.

Diethanolamine (DEA)

A foaming agent that creates the "lathering" effect. Ranks high as a health hazard by The Environmental Working Group and has been found unsafe for cosmetic use in Canada.

Extracted from red seaweed and used as a thickening agent. It's been known to create side effects that include digestive problems, IBS and even colon cancer when tested on animals.

Color Dyes

Our toothpaste's off-white color is the result of a natural authentic formulation that does NOT contain artificial color dyes, which are typically used for marketing tactics.
